Château Hogemeyer

In the long list of abandoned castles because the financial drain they represent, Hogemeyer is certainly a good example.
Built in the 18th century as a pleasure manor, a Gothic-Revival chapel will be added one century later.
Although historical monument, the owner does not seem to be able to ensure sustainability. There are some small emergency protection works, but they seem very useless.
