Like many hospitals and clinics, small country schools are also victims of a vast reorganization. They merge, they regroup, they eliminate the choice between free or official education, they abandon buildings.
Profitability is the watchword in every area.
This is what happens to the school visited today. Established in the heart of the village since 1828, the venerable Catholic institution closed its doors long ago.

The most recent traces date from 1999. Open to all winds, the lowlifes of the corner has unfortunately invested the place.
Mined also by moisture, the floors become unstable. Even the little chapel begins to look like Gruyere...

Some beautiful stained glasses are still in place.
Totally neglected, the old school dies slowly but surely...
