DPLM

March 2013

It's Easter weekend. If most of you are having fun looking for chocolate eggs in the garden, I preferred to visit an ex-flagship of the local industry.
Unusual visit since the spot of the day has only 16 small years of existence. But already abandoned.

It's a dry port as there are dozens in the country.
Inaugurated in 1997, it seems already condemned. If the ballet of cranes and containers was still active last year, abandonment now seems full.
Whose fault is it ? At the crisis more than likely. But perhaps also to the very conception of the place. After fifteen years of operation, the multimodal platform is hole riddled with everywhere. And the access seems far too narrow for the trucks that have to go there.

Of the past activity, there are only a few forgotten containers, premises with no interest and a beautiful playground for rabbits.
In short, another probable beautiful failure...
