Lime Factory

December 2020

The industrial site visited today includes an old forge (not visited) and a modern lime kiln. After the cessation of activity at the dawn of the 21st century, the site is partially converted into a museum. But the most recent industrial tools are left as they are, for our greatest pleasure.

Even if the high tower is inaccessible, we were still able to walk through the bowels of the lime kiln.
Some gateways have become extremely dangerous over time. Caution was therefore required !

Climbing upstairs is possible at the cost of a few acrobatics.

Even if the floors are in good condition, caution is in order.

Climbing any higher would have been unreasonable given the condition of some of the footbridges.
