Here is a church truly planted in the middle of nowhere. Why ?
At the start of the 20th century, rather than building a church in each surrounding hamlet, they chose instead to build a single one in
the center of this area, even if it means that she is isolated from everything.
Original, isn't it ?
As is often the case, the faithful are increasingly scarce and the inevitable happened a decade ago : the church closed and was desecrated.
Since then, she has fallen victim to time and thieves. Besides the traditional water damage, all valuable furniture and sculptures
have disappeared.
The church today presents a very sad face, which isn't going to improve anytime soon. There is indeed a vague conversion project into two dwellings...
Note that the small church is under the care of a somewhat particular neighbor. No need to piss him off.
