A spot without any tags, where you don't meet anyone and quite interesting, this is the winning combo that has become so rare.
And what is this place ?
This child care, abandoned for several years, was established in what was probably the house of the manager of the local coal mine.
These same coal mines once abounded in this region, so it is not uncommon to find beautiful opulent houses next to the small, simple
houses reserved for miners. The contrast is striking.
So, the transformation of this beautiful bourgeois house into a child care had an impact on the interior of the building. Thus, although
the decorations have largely been preserved, several rooms have been divided by unsightly walls. However, this doesn't prove too disturbing
during the visit, the place is interesting enough to ignore this small aesthetic problem.
As for HH GF visited a few years ago (as a reminder a hospital in perfect condition but abandoned, during the COVID-19 crisis when hospital beds were sorely lacking), the child care visited that day could have been very useful when we know that a certain number are missing. A new example of the good management of our irresponsible politicians.
Subtle trick to make you believe that electricity is present.
A very pleasant place.
We will not judge the choice of colors.
The old solarium, where the fan is a little tired.
A skylight transformed into a rain well.
Only the stained-glass windows have been damaged.
Long corridor crossing the entire first floor.
Mushroom...
... and peeling paint. What more ?
Let's leave this beautiful place in its solitude.
